Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United USA who took gold in the 2012 Olympics. It made her one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team event, earning her and Gabby the honor of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around competitions. In the three years between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. Additionally, she was part of gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly hopes to be fashion-forward and increase the range of her socks and leotards in the coming years. She's writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
